Insurance approved window locks

October 12, 2015

The definition of a window lock that meets insurance approval means it must have a key operation to lock the window either in the fully closed position, or open a little for ventilation.

NEVER leave the keys in the window locks or visibly from the outside nearby, as this is an invite for a burglar to smash a hole to grab the key and open the window.

Finally make sure that the window locks are activated otherwise you may find the isurance company would not approve a payout.
